How to find us

Fribourg (Switzerland) is located between the international airports of Geneva, Zurich and Basle. One direct train to Fribourg is leaving per hour from each of these airports. Timetables can be consulted on the Swiss Federal Railways site. The journey from Geneva to Fribourg takes approximately 1½ hours by train or car (highway exit “Fribourg Sud”). From Basle or Zurich, you will need less than two hours to get to Fribourg.

From the Fribourg railway station, it takes about 10-15 minutes on foot to get to the Geography Unit.The offices of the Geography Unit are located in the University building n°14 at the end of the Boulevard de Perolles (2nd and 3rd floors).

The Geography Unit can also be reached by means of public transport, just take the no 1, 3 or 7 bus in front of the railway station and get off the bus at “Pérolles-Charmettes”. Timetables can be consulted on the TPF site (Transports Publics Fribourgeois).
